Urge City Council to remove CORO from Glendale’s Land Use Element.

The proposed City-Owned Residential Overlay (CORO) threatens local businesses, neighborhood charm, and everyday quality of life.

When you click the button, your default email app will open with a pre-written message addressed to the Glendale City Council. The subject line and message are already filled in, so all you have to do is hit send.

The message asks the Council to eliminate CORO, a policy that would allow dense development on publicly owned land—including areas like Montrose Shopping Park and historic neighborhoods such as Rossmoyne and Royal.

If enacted, CORO will:

  • Displace longtime small businesses

  • Increase traffic congestion on quiet residential streets

  • Prioritize the interests of outside developers over Glendale residents

Sending this email takes less than 10 seconds. But when hundreds of residents do it, City Hall takes notice.

This is one of the simplest ways to show you care about your city’s future—and you’re not alone.
